The Center for Healing Shame is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us when you sign up for our email list, register for a workshop, purchase a product, use our Contact form, or contact us directly. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone.

We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request, e.g., to complete a workshop registration. 

Unless you ask us not to, we may contact you via email in the future to tell you about our workshops, events, or services, or changes to this privacy policy.

  • Contact Form/Email – If you send us a message via our website contact forms, we require you to enter your name and email address so that we can respond to your inquiry. 

  • Registration/Order – When you register for one of our workshops, training sessions, other events, or order a product, you will need to provide your name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and credit card information. Your credit card information is used solely for the secure processing of your registration or order. Your contact information will be included in our mailing list so that you will receive additional updates for the event/order for which you registered, and to let you know of future offerings that may interest you.

General Mailing List: We use a third-party provider, Constant Contact, to deliver our newsletter. We gather statistics around email opening and clicks using industry standard technologies to help us monitor and improve our e-newsletter. You can unsubscribe from general mailings at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any of our emails.

How Information Is Used
Any information that you provide the Center for Healing Shame via the website or by contacting the directors or staff may be used to provide you with better service including answering your inquiry and also keeping you informed of future offerings via our mailing list. After your initial inquiry or registration, we will send you our newsletter and may contact you to make you aware of other events related to the Center for Healing Shame.

Withdraw Your Consent to Receive Emails
To be removed from the Center for Healing Shame’s marketing emails, you can do this by using the Unsubscribe link at the bottom of the emails that you receive. You may also send an email to Sheila Rubin at Sheila@HealingShame.com asking to be removed, along with the exact email address you wish to have removed. You may also call our office with the request. We take all removal requests seriously.   

Restrict / Object / Complain of Our Use of Your Information
If at any time you want the Center for Healing Shame to keep your information but do not want us to use it, you may inform us of the request along with exactly how you do or do not want your data used.
